Fellowship for politicians

The Institut für Raumexperimente (Institute for Spatial Experiments), a research programme affiliated with the Berlin University of Arts (UdK) and directed by the artist Olafur Eliasson, is offering a fellowship to a politician from Berlin for a period of six months, starting on 1 April 2012. The fellowship enables participation in all seminars and events of the institute in the summer semester of 2012.

Students currently enrolled at Berlin University of the Arts:

Students in the foundation course (Grundlehre) may only apply for Winter Semester. The application period for Winter Semester 2012-13 will end June 15, 2012.

Students not currently enrolled at Berlin University of the Arts:

Applicants that are not currently enrolled at Berlin University of the Arts may generally apply only to the Winter Semester. The application period for Winter Semester 2012-13 will end on February 15, 2012. Admission to the Institut für Raumexperimente requires both acceptance to the Berlin University of the Arts as well to the Institut für Raumexperimente.

Postgraduate short-term grants:

Applications will be generally accepted for Summer Semester or for Winter Semester. Grants are offered for a six-month period. Applications should be submitted directly to Institut für Raumexperimente. The application period for Winter Semester ends on May 1. The application period for Summer Semester ends on November 1.
